A circle template is a fundamental tool in Dimensional Embroidery. Many flowers and other objects are marked with a circle on your fabric. If you want to add a flower simply match up the circle on your cloth with the template and then draw the same size.
I use this template all the time as I design. I can't live without it.
Make sure that you wash it well between uses. I have added unwanted marks due to the ink residue on the edges of the circle. It may be a good idea to have one template dedicated to my embroidery projects. This would insure that only a stray mark from the ink of a wash out pen would find its way onto the cloth.
Do I take my own advice? Nope. I use one sheet for everything - designing on paper with a pencil or pen, making happy faces, etc. I guess I like to live dangerously.
